Product Warranty

If upon receipt, the goods are found to be defective in materials or construction, R.Shadel, Inc. agrees to repair or replace such goods free of charge. If goods ordered do not meet your expectations, return immediately for full refund or letter of credit. In the case of an exchange, indicate the replacement items and we will promptly make the exchange of merchandise. Goods may be returned either through your local distributor or sent to us directly. If returned to us directly, please send by insured mail or UPS. All of our items have a lifetime warranty against manufacturer defects, not including normal wear and tear. If for any reason, the device fails to perform as specified, please notify our customer service in writing with an explanation of the problem and if we determine that the product fails to meet the stringent specifications of our quality control, we will either repair or replace the item in question either at no charge or minimal charge, depending on the age of the unit and the specific circumstances.

Prices and Payments

Orders are subject to current pricing at the date of shipment. Prices listed in this catalog are effective immediately and supersede all previous prices. Prices are subject to change without prior warning or notice. However, the company will make its best effort to inform all local distributors and direct sell customers of any price changes as they occur. Unless otherwise specified by the selling agreement of the distributor through whom the purchase was made, if applicable, all payments on invoices are due and must be received within 30 days of the shipment date of the merchandise. Terms are net 30 days. A 1.5% late payment charge will be added to any balance more than 30 days past due.

Delivery Dates

Delivery dates, although given in good faith, shall not be considered binding. It is the policy of the company to ship all items promptly upon receipt of the order. The company shall not be liable for any delays created by the distributor. If such delays are created by the distributor, the matter should be promptly reported to our customer service and we will make every effort to resolve the matter as expediently as possible.

Partial Shipments

If deliveries are made in installments, each installment shall be separately invoiced and paid when due without regard to other deliveries. If order is placed through one of our distributors, all rules and policies mandated by that distributor are binding.

Shipping Costs

Unless otherwise arranged, the cost of shipping is an additional charge that is prepaid and added to the invoice. Terms are F.O.B., San Francisco, CA. Shipping is usually through United Parcel Service.

Return of Goods

Goods may be returned and credited only after authorization from R. Shadel, Inc. or one of its authorized distributors. Unless the item is subject to warranty conditions (i.e. is unsatisfactory to the customer due to manufacturer misrepresentation or defect), there will be a 20% restocking charge or a charge equivalent to the cost of returning the goods to stock, whichever is higher, levied on all returns. R. Shadel reserves the right not to accept the goods in the case of customized special products made to specifications.

Cancellation of Orders

R. Shadel, Inc. or one of its distributors must be notified within 10 days of the date of invoice otherwise no responsibility can be accepted.

Damage in Transit

R. Shadel will make every effort to package the items to avoid all possible damage. All items shipped directly by the company have been insured against damage. Therefore, R. Shadel is not responsible for damages in transit. In such eventuality, retain all packing materials, have damage inspected by the carrier and file a claim directly with the carrier. The carrier assumes full responsibility for both visible and concealed damage.

Customer Conditions

If a customer's order contains special printed conditions, such conditions are binding only as far as they are not at variance with the terms and conditions stated above, unless agreed otherwise in writing by R. Shadel, Inc.
